Why you chose us years ago

I chose Platinum Wealth Management because managing significant wealth is complex, and a wealth manager provides guidance. PWM plans for the long term. Hiring a PWM gave me that dedicated professional.

Part 2: What items today are most important and concerning so we can learn and improve

Wealth preservation is still at the top of my list. I enjoy large returns as much as everyone else, but I'm at an age where maintaining my wealth is more important than creating it. As a "hands-off" investor, it helps me sleep at night.

Part 1 Questions/Conversation

1. Can you start by introducing yourself, where you’re located, where you worked (title) and for how long?
Jim and Lisa J. We live in Alpharetta, Georgia. I'm a Captain for Delta Air Lines, in my 28th year. I have 7.5 years until retirement. Lisa worked in corporate training and development for over 20 years.

2. How did they hear about us and what made you select our Team?
I learned about PWM through my father, Cliff J. He trusted Gena and her team and recommended her without hesitation. He trusted PWM for many years to manage his finances.

3. What were your main concerns at retirement about your selection process? What were you looking for in an Advisor?
Like many others, my primary concerns included figuring out when to stop working, maintaining income, wealth preservation, and what to eventually do with our accumulated possessions.

6. How do you think that working with us has impacted your life and family?
It allows me to focus on my life outside of retirement planning. I can trust my retirement to PWM. That's why I leave it to those who are.

7. What areas can we improve?
Nothing of note. Continue to do what you do.

Part 2 Questions

1. What is your #1 priority or concern right now?
Again, wealth preservation. We live in an uncertain, volatile world. Markets go up, markets go down. Avoid the wild fluctuations.

2. What trends in your personal life are impacting your decisions? What’s top of mind for you right now?
I try to become more than I was yesterday. Each step forward—no matter how small—adds a layer to who I become. I've learned the value of persistence, the power of focus, and the importance of believing in myself, even when the road gets tough.

3. What is the biggest obstacle to achieving your goals?
The fear of failure is a formidable obstacle to accomplishing my goals. It can hinder me from taking the necessary actions to move forward.

4. What frustrations do you have about your concerns?
Reexamining my goals. It may be that my feelings of overwhelm are mostly related to the goals I've set for myself. These goals might be too ambitious, too daunting, and unrealizable. I might consider revising these goals to make them more modest and, thus more achievable.
